The Friends of the Wisdom Hospice is delighted to be working in partnership with ZC Social Media for our first Firewalk Challenge.
We’re giving YOU an amazing opportunity to embark on an inspirational journey, a barefoot walk over smouldering coals. By taking part in this incredible challenge, not only will you overcome your fears, you will make a real difference to our patients and their families.
The evening starts at 7pm with registration at the Innovation Centre, Maidstone Road, Chatham. This will be followed by a two-hour mindset seminar to prepare you for the challenge. It really is all about mind over matter!
At about 9.30pm, we’ll be going outside to walk over the smouldering coals. Event hosts Time 4 Change are experts in this field and have looked after thousands of firewalkers. They can’t wait to share this amazing, liberating experience with you.
The price is £25 per person (over 18s only) and we ask you to raise £100 sponsorship. If this isn’t possible, please pledge what you can. The entry fee covers the cost of the event but it’s the sponsorship money that will help support patients and their families at the most difficult of times.
Here’s what your money could pay for:

£5 would pay for a patient’s specially prepared meal

£25 would pay for a specialist palliative care nurse for an hour

£60 would pay for a patient’s day hospice visit

£100 would pay for four hours of nursing care

£431 would fund the cost of hospice bed for a day

£2,000 is The Friends’ daily fundraising target
